Parenteral Vitamins

Description
It is a high potency multi-dose vitamin B-Complex injectable with Inositol and other lipotropic factors. It is available as a twin pack of 1.1 ml ampoule containing vitamin B12 + 11 ml vial containing other B-Complex and lipotropic factors.
Indications
- Acute polyneuropathies of varied etiology such as nutritional, alcoholic, diabetic or toxic neuropathies.
- Liver disorders
- Post-operative convalescence
- Chronic debilitating conditions requiring parenteral B-Complex
Recommended Dosage
Before use the entire contents of the ampoule containing Vitamin B12 should be withdrawn into a sterile syringe and then mixed with the solution present in 11 ml vial. After this reconstitution, one to two ml is administered intramuscularly as a daily dosage. The same dosage can also be administered as IV drip after appropriate dilution.
Safety
It is generally safe and well tolerated. However, it is contraindicated in persons with a history of hypersensitivity to thiamine or any of the other ingredients present in this preparation. Not to be used in newborn or premature infants.
Presentation
Beplex Forte Injection : Twin-pack each containing 11 ml Vial + 1.1ml ampoule. Four such twin-packs per blister pack.
